# Vybe RP Rules

**As a player on our server, it is important to adhere to all of the rules in place. By joining our server, you acknowledge and agree to follow these rules. If you engage in any behavior that violates our rules, it is solely your responsibility as a player to understand and have read these rules. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our rules to ensure an enjoyable and fair gameplay experience for all.**

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 1: Respect Players & Staff</mark>&#x20;

* We plan on mutual respect, you will be approached by staff with respect and we expect the same from you in chats, tickets, and in the city. If you feel as though there is an altercation that needs to be handled, feel free to reach out to a staff member in a respectful manner. No Racist/Hate speech will be tolerated at any point in the server or in the discord and will immediately result in a permanent ban.\
  \
  Any Sexual Harassment in Discord or server will not be tolerated. Rape role-play will not be tolerated whatsoever within the community.\
  \
  When a punishment or action is handed to you by a staff member, please remain respectful if you see an issue with your punishment you may speak to that but in a respectful manner. All punishments are discussed with staff prior to issuing the punishment.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 2: Player Names</mark>

* Player names should be realistic as this is a role-playing server.&#x20;
* Avoid names like Batman, Jason Bates, and Meme names.
* We love creative names and stories. Do not have any racist or offensive names. This should be prevented in our character creation menus but sometimes they slip through.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 3: Hacking</mark>&#x20;

* No hacking or 3rd party mods are allowed. (RPF's - Bannable Offense)
* Specific Mods that are not allowed

  * <mark style="color:yellow;">`Confetti`</mark>
  * <mark style="color:yellow;">`Fps-packs`</mark>
  * <mark style="color:yellow;">`Blood-fx (you can have the extra blood)`</mark>
  * <mark style="color:yellow;">`Hit-effects`</mark>
  * <mark style="color:yellow;">`Kill-fx`</mark>
  * <mark style="color:yellow;">`No-props`</mark>
  * <mark style="color:yellow;">`No-water`</mark>
  * <mark style="color:yellow;">`No-mountain`</mark>

  **Mods you can use**
* No using visual mods to gain an advantage in any RP scenario.&#x20;
* Some visual mods to improve the games fidelity and to add crosshairs are allowed. If you wonder if it’s allowed please open a ticket and ask.&#x20;
* Remember that this is a Roleplay server and you do not need FPS Packs or confetti whilst playing. You are not playing Arena here.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 4: Random Death Match or Vehicle Deathmatch (RDM/VDM)</mark>

* Random Deathmatch (RDM) is the act of killing/downing a person without proper initiation. Roleplay should include ample time to react to demands before harming anyone.
* Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM) is not allowed. VDM is the act of intentionally using a vehicle to kill/injure other persons. An act of using a vehicle as a weapon to protect your own life is situational and may not be considered VDM.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 5: Value of Life</mark>

* If someone threatens you with weapons or serious harm, it's important to be afraid for your safety. The same applies if you're outnumbered by multiple people, such as in a 3 vs. 1 situation. For example, if someone pulls up in a car with 3-4 people and demands that you put your hands up, it's best to listen to them. Not valuing your life could put you in danger. If someone complies with everything being asked, you should value their life and only resort to violence if they don't cooperate. It's important to also value the lives of others involved in the scenario. Don't try to fight back quickly, run away, or do anything else that could make the situation worse. Ultimately, we're all here to have a good role-playing experience, and without a value for life, it can make the game less immersive for everyone involved.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 6: Metagaming/Third Party Communication</mark>

* There should be no use of out of city knowledge in the city(discord, streams, text). Find out in character stands. Do not use out of game communication such as Discord, while in city and role-playing. The city is all about supporting other streamers, but please do not use the knowledge in the city. If Meta-Gaming happens and a ticket is brought up it will be investigated and dealt with accordingly.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 7: Fail RP/Gore RP/Suicide RP/Pregnancy RP</mark>

* Failure to role-play is when a player is not roleplaying a situation as they should when they are involved in that. If you are in a scenario and fail to role-play this could result in disciplinary action. At all times you as a player should be role-playing in every situation and scenario you're in. If you encounter a scenario where failed role-play happens, please finish the scenario and open a staff ticket.
* You are not allowed to talk about your <mark style="color:yellow;">“cousins, brother, other soul”</mark> etc. This is also considered Fail RP. - **If found to be doing so you will be pulled into a ticket.**
* Gore RP is to not to happen unless PD, EMS, and the victim of the RP scenario agree to it Via OOC Discord DM's, due to it ultimately changing that person's character for the rest of the characters life, so PLEASE make sure we are getting permission before this is performed.
* Suicide RP is not allowed in the city under any circumstances. This can be a very emotional situation for some and we can't be having that in this city. Any future suicide attempts will be dealt with by staff and that character will be permanently deleted.
* Pregnancy RP just like these other types, is a difficult RP type to accommodate and enforce. With that being said, You are not allowed to have abortions or miscarriage, If you RP as pregnant you understand that you will have to RP having a child and doing so adds more restrictions to you as you have to be careful of what you are doing, you are not to participate in any crimes that could “harm” a baby such as, Shootouts, robberies, driving at high speeds etc.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 8: Power Gaming</mark>

* A player needs to look at their actions within the city and its script mechanics to see if it’s giving them an advantage. No player should abuse bugs, economy/job imbalances, or handle mechanics. If you find these issues stop immediately, report the issue, and we can investigate and provide IC rewards for doing so. Failure to report could result in assets seized.\
  \ <mark style="color:purple;">**Some major violations of this rule include:**</mark>
* `Using Emotes to go through doors or walls`
* `Do not taze people from your car this is unrealistic.`
* `Sharing items / wealth between “characters” is an example of Power Gaming, this includes making multiple characters to get the starting cash over and over. All transactions are in logs and this will result in a ban`
* `Selling Tebex purchased assets including house or vehicle for IC money`` `<mark style="color:red;">`Perma Ban`</mark>
* <mark style="color:yellow;">`Emoting during gunfights is not tolerated under any circumstance`</mark>&#x20;

## <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 9: Combat logging</mark>

* Combat logging will not be allowed whatsoever at any point in the server. You need to finish out every role-play scenario that occurs in character. If you are in a scenario and you disconnect for any reason that isn’t of your own doing, please @ the individual in #headpop-chat if possible and inform them you will be returning/ or why you cannot return. This is in case any tickets are open, and we can confirm it wasn’t a combat log. Do not Combat log to avoid going to jail, avoid staff punishments, a gun fight, or altercation with the police. Everything in this city is logged and with enough investigation we can find out what exactly happened.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 10: OOC Talk/Voice IDing</mark>

* Do not speak OOC matters to anyone in the city including staff, if it’s something to be discussed it can be chatted about in Discord or in a ticket. When you are in the city, you are the character you’ve chosen. If you have an issue that arises in game while roleplaying, DO NOT GO OOC mid situation
* There will be no voice IDing whatsoever. This is either power gaming a masked character, or considered cross character meta. If they are wearing the same clothes, mask, etc. This would not be considered voice IDing.&#x20;
* If someone is on another character, respect the RP of that new individual, vise versa to that, attempt to make your new soul distinctly different from your other characters.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 11: Scenario Numbers</mark>

* When you are in ANY RP situation, involving shootouts/robberies/gang related RP, etc., you are only allowed to have <mark style="color:red;">4 people involved.</mark> If you radio to have an individual set up another vehicle, that is fine. However, that person is required to leave the area so they are not involved with the situation. If you are in a gang war with a rival gang, you are allowed to have up to 4 people out on the streets and or pushing the rival’s block. If you are defending your own block you’re allowed to have as many as needed. This could also change depending on the war terms agreed upon. Understand the difference between beef and war. Beef is what should lead into war, and the rule of 4 should always apply.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 12: New Life Rule</mark>

* If you are down, you can decide to either wait for EMS/Police to come to your location to help you to Mt. Zonah or you can respawn. However, if you’ve been shot multiple times in the head please do not talk as if nothing is wrong This is considered FailRP.&#x20;
* <mark style="color:yellow;">DO NOT</mark> life flight if you are in an active scene, wait for it to be concluded.
* Be reminded that if you life flight then you are not to return to a Scene/Interaction.
* If you decide to respawn, you cannot remember the last 15 minutes of events that led to you getting downed once you respawn.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 13: Roleplay Quality</mark>

* Cop baiting is a great form of low quality Roleplay. This is where you purposefully attempt to bait Police Officers into a scenario without any RP behind it. Ex. Hitting a cop car to have them chase you to an ambush for the purpose of a gunfight. Or simply racing past the MRPD for attention
* If the officer(s) are dealing with an active scene such as a shootout/robbery or engaged in an active roleplay situation, players need to let cops finish that RP scenario before engaging themselves. If you see a police officer setting up a speed trap and purposely driving at high rates of speed just to start a cop chase on purpose is an example of cop baiting. You can rob police officers of what you need during that fight. **`(Armour, Ifaks, Bullets, Food, Drink)`** Please do not empty their pockets and vehicles to stock up on police goods. (we will go over this further later in the rules) There are plenty of ways for you to get this on the street, we do not need to drain the police dry in every scenario

Please refrain from playing “money simulator”. This can also come in the form of not interacting with other individuals and prioritizing monetary gains rather than interactions.

* Refusing to respond to EMS staff will result in a kick from the server. Use your /me commands to allow EMS to treat you and meet you in the middle with your RP. (Ex: /me low blood pressure, bleeding from stab wound) EMS please be patient with people this can take some time for people to respond
* Strictly no salty behavior, Excessive toxicity when people are down(spitting, mag dumping, screaming quotes like <mark style="color:yellow;">**`PDK, BallasK`**</mark> hunting hospital to rub salt in the wounds if you win or lose a fight.
* Tweeting out <mark style="color:yellow;">**`PDK, BallasK`**</mark> is stupid and starts toxic behaviour.
* We are here to create a great story with everyone in the city and excessive toxicity win or lose ruins it for those involved.
* Helicopters are not to be used for illegal activities, such as Robberies and flying onto a rooftop that is not accessible.
* We are an <mark style="color:red;">**`18+ server`**</mark>. This being said, we allow ERP. However, **it cannot be done in an open area or posted on twitter**. This will result in an automatic 24 hour ban. We have streamers on this server and we do not want them gaining any infractions due to bad behaviour. Think before you act.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 14: 6th Pocket</mark>

* The 6th pocket is meant to be used for things such as keys, debit cards, etc. Things of that nature. Being caught abusing this will have consequences. It is not meant to holster a gun or be used to put drugs in or items that you do not want stolen from other people when being robbed this is deemed as power gaming.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 15: Cooldowns</mark>

* Starting now we will have cool downs on robberies in the city. Please make sure you follow this or you will be brought into a ticket to discuss.
* Fleeca: 30 Minute Cooldown
* Vangelico Heist: 30 Minute Cooldown
* Pacific Bank: 1 Hour Cooldown
* Bobcat: 1 Hour Cooldown
* Bank Truck: 30 Minute Cooldown

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 16: Chain Robbing</mark>

* Chain robbing Banks, Vangelicos, etc. is not a thing. Every robbery you do should have a story behind it as to why. It's Low Effort money sim and FailRP. Chasing W's is not the mentality that we expect in our city. Smash and Grabs are not to be done. You rob a store and it is "scuffed", deal with it. It doesn't mean go to the next one and hope for something better.\
  \
  You must wait for up to <mark style="color:yellow;">10 minutes</mark> for cops and continue the scene. Give the cops enough time so they can get their RP in also. Lack of doing so, will start resulting in bans.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 17: Headpops</mark>

* If you are in a scene and you have a "headpop", you are required to RETURN to that scene to carry out that scene. If you are detained after a chase and a headpop occurs, you are STILL detained when you return from that headpop. Not returning to a scene after a headpop is Powergaming and in some cases could be considered Combat Logging. When/if caught will be treated as such.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 18: Storm Warnings</mark>

* To ensure a fair and balanced gameplay experience, we have implemented a new rule for criminals. Effective immediately, all criminal activity, such as selling drugs or robbing banks, is prohibited 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after the tsunami. It is strongly advised that you refrain from engaging in any criminal activity during this period. However, if a criminal scene has already started before the tsunami warning and extends into the 15-minute period, you may continue with the scene. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping the game enjoyable and fair for all players.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 19: Government Vehicles</mark>

* When it comes to stealing government vehicles such as PD cruisers or ambulances, it is important to utilize good RP behind stealing said vehicles. While we encourage players to have fun and create engaging stories involving these vehicles, we ask that you do so in a responsible manner. Please refrain from trolling or using the vehicles in a way that is disruptive or disrespectful to other players. Failure to do so may result in a warning or, in more severe or repeated cases, a ban. Let's work together to create an enjoyable and immersive gameplay experience for all.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 20: Pocket Wiping</mark>

* In regards to pocket wiping, there are a few that are going to be allowed to be taken during PD shootouts. <mark style="color:yellow;">`Ifaks, Ammo, Armor, Food, Drinks, Handcuffs, Tazer, Bullets`</mark>. You do not get to take them AFTER THE SCENE is completed. You do not need to take all of their armor, ammo, and meds. They are not loot boxes you get for winning the shootout.
* Firearms are not to be taken from officers for ANY reason, possession of PD equipment will be investigated and taken. (Heavy Pistols Can be taken)
* If the Shootout is over, Leave the scene don't stay.
* When robbing a player for general RP purposes, this opens up on a broader spectrum. This does not mean you are given the right to pocket wipe someone. But if you choose to take drugs, money, or jewelry, from a player with intent of a profit gain, that would be considered okay.&#x20;
* This also doesn’t mean we are allowing people to just run around the city robbing people with no RP or back story either.
* If found abusing this rule, it will be an automatic 24hr ban.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 21: Whitelist Jobs</mark>

In order to work at these respective jobs, your record has to be clean.

* Police Department (No record, No affiliation)
* Emergency Medical Services (No record, No affiliation)
* DOJ (No record, No affiliation)
* Dynasty 8 (No record, No affiliation)
* Auto Plex (No record)
* Ammu-nation (No record)

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 22: Hostage Taking/Unrealistic Hostage Demands</mark>

* You are not permitted to take people you know as a hostage. This is low effort RP.
* Do not ask the police for illegal items and or money. It will never be a demand that is granted. If the police inform you that a demand can not be met, you will be required to choose another demand. Once demands are agreed upon, they are final, both sides are required to honor those demands.
* If your hostages comply with all your demands, you should not kill them and always give them a way to escape with their life.

Hostages, if a group has you at gunpoint outside of their car, comply with their demands to the best of your ability within RP

Rule 23: Bulk orders for food or drinks

Food at restaurants are only allowed to sell 20 items of food and 20 items of drink to an individual at a time each visit. Pregnant women are allowed 30/30.

There is no limit on alcohol purchases (keep it reasonable)

Bulk orders are allowed for business to stock, ex PDM buying up to 100 drinks and 100 food for the employees on shift

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 24: Loopholes</mark>

* The rules above are absolute. If you are new to RP, don’t assume something, feel free to ask staff before pursuing that RP. Do not take any of the rules and try to twist the wording, if it is not specifically worded, ask. There should never be a gray area in which you feel a rule can be worked around. DO NOT LOOK FOR LOOPHOLES. If found doing so, this can become a warning/ban, depending on the severity of the situation. Do not argue with staff if this is attempted to be corrected.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 26: Custom PED / Animal RP</mark>

Here in Vybe, we encourage all forms of RP. However, while we have these tools at their disposal, we have to ensure that they are being played properly.&#x20;

If you wish to use a PED as a character, you must first make a ticket in regards to the usage of that ped, and explain what you are going to be doing as this character. This is so staff can determine if it would be a good fit into the community and more importantly determine if it would violate any rules. We allow this RP in its entirety, but need to make sure that it stays within our community guidelines.

If you wish to play an animal the process is similar, however the rules are far stricter in totality. As an animal, you must become that animal. This is included, but not limited to, not using your voice chat, using any emotes that would otherwise “scuff” your ped, and abusing the powers that come with that animal. If you wish to play a pigeon, for example, you cannot pick people up and carry them into the sky then drop them. Animal RP is case by case basis, so much like playing a normal PED, you must make a ticket and have a discussion with staff.&#x20;

* 1\. You must have quality RP with the character that you are mainly playing.
* 2\. You must Open up a ticket and ask for a staff.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 27: High paying jobs and corruption</mark>

EMS, PD, PDM, and D8 are all high paying and time consuming jobs. If someone is employed at one, they cannot work at another. Exceptions can apply but only with permissions from Staff.

PD, EMS, DOJ, Ammunation and Dynasty8 are strictly not allowed to be corrupt without staff approval.&#x20;

### <mark style="color:purple;">Rule 28: Tax Houses and Cars Reverting to Tokens</mark>

* Due to the nature of RP, there will always be highs and lows. Population included. With this in mind Vybe RP must continue to look forward and plan ahead, not holding onto the past longer than necessary. Without further ado:
* If you have Less than 10 hours of gameplay in 90 days, monitored at the beginning of every month, all your import cars and houses will revert to tokens, your whitelisted job(s) will be lost, and any role(s) within or holding(s) of gang(s), turf, and colors will be lost.
* Reminder: After 2 weeks of inactivity, your owned business will be put back up for sale(we will reach out to you via ticket to get an understand of why the business is inactive.)
* This policy is in active effect. If you are not active in Vybe RP, your hot commodity items will go up for grabs.
