Ride Alongs
Ride alongs may only be permitted by Supervisors (SGT+)
Civilians may not go on a police ride along if they have an active warrant or a criminal record that has felonies / violent misdemeanors
Civilians must be searched prior to a ride along and are not permitted to have a weapon on them. Civilians may not wear gang attire while on the ride along.
Gang Members or Former gang members will not be permitted to ridealong with officers. This can be used to give intel on how PD uses there abilities to attack situations
Police ride alongs may be given armour from the PD armour (Amount 2) however they must be returned immediately following the conclusion of the ride along. (They will also need to wear a vest from a clothing shop)
Officers conducting ride alongs are responsible for the safety and actions of their ride along, they are not to be taken to life-threatening scenes if possible.
Civilian ride alongs are required to sign a waiver saying they will not sue the Police Department for any injuries / damages they acquire on the ride along as they acknowledge that people may shoot / attempt to harm the officer they are with simply because he is an officer of the law.
Civilians must also always obey any and all lawful orders from their ridealong officer. And at all times remain in the vehicle unless the officer has permitted them to leave the vehicle for food, drink or other necessities.
